Moto Droid Screen Back Overlays [giveaway]

Just comment below with what you think the next overlay should be that GrafiXpressions makes for the Droid and you’ll be entered into the drawing to win one of the Droid Screen Back Overlays that are already in production (on the left). The winning entry will be picked by our patented Winnerator Pickum-Outer Machine (patent pending).

I would like to see the Droid name appear most of the way across the overlay, so that it could be read by others while the phone is being held in front of me. That would be an awesome way to show off the phone!
Of the choices above, option #4 on a full replacement style.

Love the idea! Designs aside, I think that the next overlay should be a thicker version of the product. I believe that a lot of users are buying this product due to the loose sliding mechanism the Droid is known to have. Possibly adding a thicker version for those customers looking for some friction would be a good idea. In terms of designs, how about some images that mimic textures? You could do a metal one, a wood one, etc.

Option 2 is the best idea, imo. It is consistent with the design philosophy of the phone, it’s simple, industrial, rugged, and masculine.
As for custom designs option 4 looks more straight-forward than the more cutesy option 2. Considering the droid market is overwhelmed by males, it makes sense.

I think the next design should be something similar to option 3 or 4 but with one of the android’s eyes as a droid eye.

Like them all, but what about the DROID RED EYE across the back. I think that would look sharp.

I would like a motherboard design that glows in the dark. Glowing in the dark is cool.

I like the idea of a cyclops android with one droid eye. Maybe something with an android and a motorola logo? I like the idea of the “droiddoes” and think it would look great in two colors. I also like the inlay concepts that have been discussed on phandroid.

How about a rotten apple or something like that. Or maybe a shrunken version of the android peeing on an apple?

But if I had to design a new one…using the font from the boot up, just print the Droid Logo…then make customization available with a user name or something….

Personally, I’d like to see them go in a couple of different directions:
1. Something with a “metal” edge to it (jagged-edged ninja stars, flames, dragons, etc)
2. Work out the legalities for sports teams (college, pro, whatever)
